I think sammy hagar is great. People say david lee roth is better just because thats what you’re supposed to say. Hagar filled his position nicely. Its like ac/dc. Bon scott was great. Brian johnson filled his shoes nicely though.

God this makes me so sad that i was born in 95. I cant wait to see them in June though! I wish i could live the 80s. Van Halen, Bruce Springsteen, Led, Metallica, the list goes on. Those of you who feel “old” because this was new when you were a kid, be glad the music back then was real talent with meaning and GOOD. Today’s music doesnt have the depth of this. Be grateful!

My favorite song of all time! Sammy’s scream goes right through my soul and comes back around to slap me in the face. David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar are both great with Van Halen and I never compared the two. I just prefer Sammy’s style more than David’s. That takes nothing away from David Lee Roth because in his own way Mean Street was a monster to me when I heard it the first time! Sammy has more heart and Soul in his style. He’s not as Heavy as David Lee Roth. Just my opinion, whatever.

listen up losers. growing up listening to both van halens me and my musically aware friends didnt compare the two. david was david and sammy of course was and is the red rocker. old ‘van halen’ may have been harder but sammy always brought it. there. that settles it. now move on to more intelligent conversation.
